This spacious accommodation comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests, featuring a beautifully designed bedroom, a cozy loft, and a well-appointed bathroom. The large open-concept living area is perfect for gathering, complete with a warm fireplace that sets the mood for relaxation.
Step outside to discover your private oasis! Enjoy evenings under the stars around the fire pit or unwind in the brand new hot tub, surrounded by a fenced yard that’s perfect for your furry friends, as we happily welcome dogs.Just a short three-block stroll will take you to the stunning beach, where you can soak up the sun or explore the shoreline. For the adventurous, we provide an inflatable kayak, allowing you to paddle and explore the nearby waters.Inside and out, there are games available for all ages, ensuring fun for everyone. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, this coastal retreat is the perfect home base for your next getaway!

The cabin is within walking distance to the beach. It is a 5 minute or less walk straight into the water or the Sam-O-Set sand beach. There is a cute playground and pavilion across from the beach. You can also take a quick minute or two drive and park at Sam-O-Set Park if you don’t want to walk.
You are less than 11 minutes either direction to North or South Higgins State Park entrance.
There is a large boat and watercraft boat launch at West Higgins Lake Boat Launch about a 5 minute drive away. You can also launch larger watercraft at both North and South Higgins Lake Park just 3-4 miles from the cabin. There is a small craft launch just down the street just past Sam-O-Set Park. We have a 3 person inflatable kayak for use upon request. (2 adults and a child).
There is parking in front of the cabin for your trailer, boat or other water toys and parking in the driveway for cars.
There are several seasonal restaurants in the area. Grocery stores are about 20 minutes away on the other side of Higgins Lake or Houghton Lake. There are party stores and convenience stores nearby.

I fell in love with Higgins Lake years ago for its clear waters, sandy beaches, and the endless outdoor activities available year-round. When the opportunity came to create a welcoming space for families, friends, and pets to gather and make memories, I knew this cabin was the perfect fit.
As your host, my goal is to make every stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Whether you’re planning a summer adventure of swimming and kayaking, or a winter getaway filled with snowmobiling and evenings by the fire, I’ve designed this retreat to be your home away from home.
I’ve stocked the cabin with the little details I value most when I travel: a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, cozy fireplace, hot tub, and even yard games to bring everyone together. And since I know pets are part of the family, your furry friends are always welcome here too.
